Unlimited, daily or total data?
Online all day, or not sure how much you'll use? An unlimited plan (Standard or PLUS) removes the guesswork. Daily plans give you the same high-speed amount each day, reset at midnight; total-data plans give one amount for the trip. Either way you stay connected afterwards, but 128kbps and 384kbps are much slower than normal mobile data.
How to set up your Singapore eSIM
- Check your phone. It must support eSIM and be unlocked (not tied to one carrier).
- Buy and get your QR code by email.
- Install it with your phone camera. You can scan and install the QR code before your trip – just don't turn on data roaming until you arrive, so your plan doesn't start early. Some plans must be used within 30 days of installing, so install close to departure.
- On arrival, select the VOYA eSIM for mobile data and turn on Data Roaming for it. Allow 3–5 minutes for it to connect.
FAQ
Which plans also work in Malaysia or Indonesia?
PLUS and plans 3 and 5 list Singapore and Malaysia; the three Starhub plans list Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. The Standard page lists no other countries.
Do these plans include a Singapore phone number?
No. All seven plans in this guide are data-only, with no local phone number included.
Can I delete the eSIM after my trip?
Keep it installed while you still need the plan – the eSIM can only be installed once, so it can't be reinstalled after you delete it.
What if it doesn't connect after I arrive?
Make sure Data Roaming is turned on for the VOYA eSIM and wait 3–5 minutes. If it still isn't working, connect to Wi-Fi and contact us on WhatsApp.
